Christine McVie, the renowned singer-songwriter and keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac, has passed away at the age of 79.
According to McVie's death certificate, the British musician died of a stroke on November 30, 2022. Cancer was listed as a secondary cause of death.
McVie's family confirmed the news of her passing in a statement, expressing their sadness at her loss. "She will be greatly missed," the statement read.
McVie played a pivotal role in Fleetwood Mac, joining the band in 1970. She wrote and sang some of the band's most iconic hits, including "Dreams," "Little Lies," and "Everywhere."
